Handmade Monday 10

Cant believe its time again for Handmade Monday heres the link to Hand-made Monday 10 so pop over and read what everybody has been up to xx

This week has been a busy sewing week for me I've been using up some fabric making a few cushions and bags, again going for the  Geisha style

This one shows my name embroidered on, now that was a lot of fun haven't worked out how to save it on the machine yet though
Saturday was a great day I went to the Big Bead fair up in Esher with my very good friend Alison. It took us aprox an hour to get there even though we had a little detour due to the sat nav, but once in we enjoyed a great lunch of fish and chips with mushy peas, we felt like it was better to shop on a full tummy lol
Then we made our way around the stalls it was massive, we stopped at the Bead Magazine stall and Ali got a great offer 10 magazines for a fiver WOW my subscription for them had been £40, the lady tried to talk me into renewing but I already Subscribe to Sew and Making Jewellery and wanted a great offer and thought if they are selling them Off at the shows maybe I should wait, well you never know eh???
We walked around and found some lovely stall holders I picked up some semi-precious chips and some new tools some cutters and a split ring opener that was a great deal too 2 tools for a fiver, I also got some russian doll beads for my youngest and some lovely swarovski hearts. My friend picked up a lovely beaded thimble pattern for her mum in law too and lots of other bits and pieces but all in all a great day. To top the day off we went out for a lovely curry with some great friends.
Sunday was another great day Mothers Day and the girls got me some lovely pressies and some hand-made cards they were great lots of choccies too which my youngest wanted to eat all day, the highlight of the day though was a phonecall from Kayleigh from the Carribbean it was great to hear from her its been very quiet the last couple of weeks turns out her wireless on her laptop doesnt work thats why there have been fewer and fewer updates but she sails back to the Med in a week or so Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!
So an eventful week see you all soon xx
